Family Movie Night

Bring the family, your blankets & chairs and join us to watch a movie! Concessions will be available. Cost is $10 per family. This is not a drop-off event.
Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week

Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week is a time to honor the educators who inspire and equip young students to grow to their fullest potential. Every year at Winthrop the event includes a luncheon and other activities to honor all of the Winthrop Faculty and Staff. The perfect end of the year celebration! The Winthrop Classic is fan favorite event that allows the children to rotate through several game stations, hosted by parents and teachers alike. This event is held at the end of the school year, typically in June during the school day and is free of charge.

This one is for the kids! Open to the first 40 students (must be Winthrop students). Drop your kids off with their dinner for a fun night of games and activities. Small fee charged for entry. This is a drop-off event and all students must be preregistered.
Parent Spring Social

This one’s for the parents! Book your babysitter now for a fun night out that benefits the school. Mix it up with Friends of Winthrop and Friends of Buker. It's a great way to meet parents within our school and the other elementary schools. There is a fee charged for entry and is for adults only.

Back-to-School Social

Come by Winthrop School for our combined Curriculum Night and Back to School Social. Classrooms will be open at the beginning of the evening and teachers will be present to introduce themselves. There will be free yummy treats for all for our back-to-school celebration!
We know schedules are busy. Fifth Grade will be selling pizza and water to make sure dinner is served up.

The Holiday Boutique is our largest and primary fundraiser for the FOW. It is a huge school and community-wide event. The money raised is used to support Curriculum Enrichment and various endeavors school-wide throughout the year. It’s a very fun and special day.
Finish your holiday shopping by visiting over 60 vendor tables while the kids enjoy picking out gifts for you at the kids-only Children's Room. You can bid on fabulous items in the Silent Auction. This is our largest fundraiser of the year and is open to the public. Small fee charged for entry. This is not a drop-off event.
